Nothing says “modern civic collapse” quite like a festering wheelie bin quietly fermenting outside your home.

Possible reasons your bins haven't been collected:

  • You put your bins out before 7AM - the first time you are permitted to put your bins out is 7AM onwards, bins put out before this time are not guaranteed to be collected
  • Your bin lid was slightly open - this creates an emotional disconnect with our bin men.
  • For recycling bins - if a Pringles tube is spotted within, these are the only item that HMGOV has not yet decided if they are recyclable or not, so for safety the bin will be left
  • Your bin lorry driver wasn't vibing with it today

Your council tax still applies whether we collect your bins or not. Think of it as a kind of subscription to disappointment.
