Arranged Marriages

Giving the hopeless a chance

Do you feel that you have the right to love? This mindset is not the position of the government, however, HMGOV.UK's new service can help ensure you can be paired with a mate.

How does it work? State-approved companion match-making has never been simpler. The following is a list that may or may not be the eligibility criteria.

1. You must be over 18 or at least look like it.
2. Resident of the UK or colonies (excluding India)
3. Not currently in more than 1 active marriage.

How does it work?

Enrolling into state-approved arranged marriages (SAAMs) is a complex process but, for the types of people who apply, is vastly quicker than waiting for love to "just happen naturally".

FAQs about HMGOV's Arranged Marriages

Can I appeal the match?

A formal complaint can be made out on printed 11AM dispute form using A4 card-stock, then must be filled out by hand using a black ink ballpoint pen. This will be ceremonially burned within 12 months.

Will I be happy?

Statistically speaking, at least a few participants of this scheme may find an acceptable partner. However, happiness is not guaranteed, expected or, frankly, deserved.
